Beshumi
Mountain climatic resort and summer village in Adjara, Khulo municipality, on Arsiani ridge, 1850-1900 m above sea level, 7 km from Goderdzi pass, 30 km from Khulo.
Resort Beshumi is the best vacation spot for those who, in addition to escaping from the noise and heat of the city, want to have a healthy and interesting time. The best combination of alpine and coniferous plants at the resort creates an attractive environment for relaxation and it is the best picnic and camping place for tourists, where hiking, horseback riding and adventure tours can be done.
Beshumi is a mountain climatic and balneological resort. The main healing factors are air transparency and insignificant humidity, abundance of ultraviolet rays of the sun, good drinking and mineral waters, healing mud, rich natural environment. In the backyard of the resort, coniferous forest provides a special ionization of the air. Air saturated with pure oxygen is an excellent place for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Chirukhi-Khikhani-Goderdzi
Alpine route Chirukhi-Khikhani-Goderdzi starts from Chirukhi plateau, which is 92 kilometers away from Batumi. The route follows the alpine zone and ends at Goderdzi Highland Pass (2025 m above sea level) in Khulo municipality.
At the very beginning of the route, there are panoramic views of the mountains and alpine pastures with small wooden houses of the farmers (in which overnight stays and snacking are possible).
At Chirukhi plateaus you will see Chirukhi Lake and Waterfall Jinal. The route continues to Khulo Municipality, where you will find Lake Karagoli, Shuamta Lakes and alpine meadows. Before visiting the Khikhani Fortress, you can spend the night in the nearby villages – Bakibako or Khikhadziri.
The main destination of the route is the Khikhani Fortress, which occupies an important place in the history of Adjara. It is located 2216 m above sea level.
The route ends at Goderdzi Pass where you can see Green Lake and Goderdzi Alpine Garden.

Goderdzi Alpine Garden
Located in Adjara, Khulo Municipality, on the southern slope of the Trialeti ridge. Near the resort “Goderdzi” on the territory of “Shkernali”, at an altitude of 1960 meters above sea level.
While walking in the Alpine Botanical Garden, you will find many interesting things. The wildlife of 50 families, 111 genera, and 161 species of plants and habitats typical for the subalpine and alpine zones of Adjara are gathered here on almost 10 hectares.
Here is one of the most distinguished and interesting projects of the Alpine Botanical Garden. A stone garden, where special stone compositions combined with plants are presented on the area of 4000 m2.
The purpose of the garden is to facilitate the collection of high mountain local plants in the alpine garden. To document and use it for scientific, educational, and cognitive purposes, to ensure the conservation, protection, and preservation of endangered plants for future generations.
On the territory of the Alpine Botanical Garden, there is a demonstration house of beekeeping traditions, hives and special equipment in the Adjara region. In the mountainous villages of Adjara, there is a unique tradition of honey production – Jara wild honey. There are few places in the world where people use honey made by wild bees and Georgia is one of them.

Tkhilvana
Tkhilvana – village and community center in Adjara, Khulo municipality. It is located on the west of the Arsiani ridge, on the banks of the river Khikhanistskali (right tributary of Skhalta), at 1440 meters above sea level.
It is located here near the main historical landmark of Adjara – Khikhani Fortress
Tkhilvani Plateaus are distinguished by a special location and beautiful views. There are famous Shuamta lakes, around which small wooden houses of farmers are located. The fog, which is quite frequent, gives this place a special mystery.
