Why should we rest in nature?

Today, most people have to live with constant stress and tension. That’s why it is becoming more and more important to emphasize the importance of nature and human relationships.

Modern humans today have to live in an artificial environment; an environment made of concrete, steel, plastic, and glass; a city full of emissions; fast food establishments; all this causes stress, tension, and many pathologies. That is why every person must get away from this depressing environment for a little while and be filled with new energy and a positive mood. The best way to do this is to spend time in nature.

Numerous studies have established that mountain air (about 2.5 thousand meters above sea level) has a particularly positive effect on the human body, which is why doctors usually recommend resting in the mountains to patients with pathologies of the blood, respiratory, and cardiovascular systems, as well as tuberculosis.

One of the beneficial factors of mountain air is the high intensity of solar radiation, especially ultraviolet. Intense ultraviolet radiation weakens the dermatological (skin) manifestations of this disease.

The aerochemical composition of the mountain air with a significant concentration of terpenes, phytoncides, and other substances released by the shrubby and grassy vegetation in the mountains is worth mentioning.

All the listed healing properties of mountain air are successfully used in sanatorium-resort practice.

Studies have also shown that people who live near green cover (parks) and forests suffer less from stress and depression.
